Juniper Cove Luxury Camp

Named for the hardy juniper trees that have long dotted the mesas and hillsides surrounding Open Sky, Juniper Cove Luxury Camp draws inspiration from one of the high desert's most enduring residents. Thriving for centuries in this rugged landscape, junipers have provided Indigenous peoples and early settlers with berries valued for flavor, medicine, and aromatic smoke. Like the tree itself, Juniper Cove is rooted in nature, as a place designed to bring people together.

Juniper Cove Luxury Camp is designed for families and small groups who want the comforts of a thoughtfully appointed retreat without giving up the feeling of being immersed in nature. With room to spread out and spaces to gather, it offers an easy home base for days spent exploring Zion National Park and evenings spent together at camp.

The sleeping arrangements make Juniper Cove especially versatile. A private bedroom with a king-size bed provides a comfortable retreat for adults, while built-in twin XL bunk beds occupy a dedicated stargazing alcove just off the main living space. The bunks are comfortable enough for adults, too. From the top bunk, a clear view overhead turns bedtime into its own little stargazing experience. 

The spacious interior family room is warm and inviting, with natural light, comfortable furnishings, and room to gather. An interior fireplace adds another layer of coziness, particularly on cool desert evenings. The kitchenette includes a small refrigerator and freezer, sink and space for keeping drinks and snacks close at hand. Heating and air conditioning provide comfort in every season.

The bathroom brings a touch of indulgence to the everyday, with a hand-hammered copper soaking tub for a restorative soak after a day outdoors. An outdoor shower, available seasonally, offers a refreshing alternative and another opportunity to experience the surrounding landscape.

Outside, the large private patio becomes an extension of the camp. Gather around the fire pit as the sun goes down, linger over morning coffee, or settle into the stargazing hammock for an evening of constellation spotting. It’s a space made for shared moments, whether that means conversation, s’mores or simply looking up together.
